About Bupsy
Bupsy is a native Mac app where a small team of AI bots lives and works for you. Each bot runs Claude Code or Codex, the command-line agents from Anthropic and OpenAI, under your own sign-in and on the subscription you already pay for.
Why we built it
AI subscriptions are paid for every month and used in short bursts: a question here, a chat there. Meanwhile the agents behind them, Claude Code and Codex, can already read files, run commands and do real work. Bupsy gives that subscription a job. You make a bot, tell it what it is for, and it gets on with it: on a schedule, when files change, or when another bot hands it work.
We wanted that without a new account, without buying credits, and without anyone's server sitting between you and your own tools. So Bupsy has none of those. It is a Mac app that starts the CLIs already on your Mac, shows you what they are doing, and asks you before anything risky.
What makes it different
- Your subscription, not ours. Bupsy never sells model access. It runs the Claude Code or Codex you already have.
- Nothing in the middle. There is no Bupsy account and no Bupsy server. Conversations are files on your disk.
- It asks first. Anything beyond reading waits for your OK, with four trust levels per bot and an audit log of every action.
- A team, not a chat box. Bots have jobs, faces and routines, and they hand work to each other.
