# Privacy

This page covers two things: this website, and the Bupsy app. Last updated 11 October 2026.

## This website

- **No tracking.** No analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies.
- **The waitlist.** If you join, we keep your email address, which signup form you used, the country Cloudflare saw the request come from, and the time. That is all. It is stored in a database in our Cloudflare account and used only to email you when Bupsy is ready for you. We do not sell or share it.
- **Hosting.** The site runs on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests to serve the site, as any host does.
- **Messages.** If you write to us on the [contact page](https://bupsy.pages.dev/contact), we keep your name if you give it, your email address, your message, the country and the time, to answer you by email.
- **Leaving the list.** Write to us on the [contact page](https://bupsy.pages.dev/contact), or reply to any email from us, and we will delete your address.

## The Bupsy app

- **No Bupsy account and no Bupsy server.** Your bots, chats, routines and settings are stored on your Mac.
- **No telemetry.** The app does not report what you do.
- **Your AI sign-in stays with the CLI.** Claude Code and Codex keep their own credentials. Bupsy starts them, but never reads or stores those credentials.
- **Your prompts go to your AI provider.** When a bot works, the CLI you chose sends your messages and the files it reads to Anthropic or OpenAI under your own account and their terms, exactly as it would if you ran it yourself.
- **Your other devices.** Using Bupsy from your phone or another Mac is off until you turn it on. It works only over your own private Tailscale network, never the public internet, and every device must be paired on your Mac first.
- **Connected tools.** Apps you connect, such as Gmail or Notion, are reached through tools you set up. Their keys stay with those tools.
